Tasted this outside, and the smoke from BBQ joint nearby hindered enjoyment of the nose but managed to catch dark berry notes. Flavors are intense and thoroughly enjoyable: dark cherry and black berry, not oversweet and great overall balance. I drank this solo but it would pair well with duck, beef or lamb dishes. Highly recommended.
